Agnes Nixon and Kiki McCabe Prize for Screenwriting

The Agnes Nixon and Kiki McCabe Prize for Screenwriting is a $1,000 award to an undergraduate student who shows promise in screenwriting. The Prize was donated by Cathy McCabe to honor her late mother, Kiki McCabe, and her aunt, Agnes Nixon, both Emmy Award-winning writers for daytime television.

Submission guidelines: Open to any Emory or Oxford College undergraduate. Only one screenplay may be submitted. No page limit. The screenplay must be typed and in proper screenplay format. All pages must be numbered. Screenplays may be original material or adaptations. A one-paragragh synopsis of the screenplay must be included on the first page

All entries must be submitted as one document (submission form and screenplay) IN WORD FORMAT to Academic Department Administrator Nora Lewis at nora.lewis@emory.edu no later than 12 noon, Monday, March 20, 2023. Names or other identifying information (including headers and footers) must NOT be on the work, only on the submission form.

Winners and honorable mentions will be announced later in the Spring semester -- method of announcement TBD.
