Applications should be submitted via email to nora.lewis@emory.edu in Word format. If you are required to submit a writing sample, include it with your application and send as ONE Word document. Do not email instructors for permission.

The email subject line should include "application" -- failure to use this keyword may result in a delayed response.

You will be notified by email on your acceptance into the class. If you are accepted, your seat will be reserved, and you will receive a permission number to use when registering. If you are placed on our internal waiting list, you will not see this status in OPUS. Contact Nora Lewis with any inquiries. 

PLEASE NOTE: You will receive an email from Nora Lewis when your application is processed. Applications are processed on certain days and in the order they are received.

DEADLINES: The priority deadline for Intermediate and Advanced applications is March 28; the hard deadline is April 17 (exceptions only for later schedule changes and Oxford transfers). Late applications have a reduced chance of workshop acceptance. Students can expect to receive acceptance decisions starting April 29. Please do not send multiple emails inquiring about the status of your application – you will be notified as soon as possible.

If Nora Lewis does not have your application before the end of the business day on March 28, your application will not be sent to instructors until after April 17. If there is an issue with your application that is not resolved by March 28, your application will not be sent until after April 17, so please review your form, be sure to include all class details and writing samples, and send your document according to instructions.
