Victoria KornickLecturer in Nonfiction, Poetry, Fiction

Victoria Kornick is the author of Relief, selected by Diane Seuss as the winner of the 2025 Kathryn A. Morton Prize in Poetry from Sarabande Books. Her poetry and essays have appeared in The Best American Poetry 2025, 32 Poems, American Chordata, Copper Nickel, The Greensboro Review, and The Yale Review, and she has received support from the Elizabeth George Foundation, the Oak Spring Garden Foundation, the Community of Writers, and the Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts. Victoria holds an MFA in Poetry Writing from New York University, where she was a Rona Jaffe fellow, and a PhD in Creative Nonfiction from the University of Southern California. She is currently at work on a novel and a collection of essays.
